Front load washer tub. Removing the tub clips.
Welcome back to video number five. Alright, so on this one, what we’re gonna do is split the tank. So on this particular model, we have these metal clips that run all the way around the diameter of the tank and we’re gonna need to remove all of these. Some models have different ways of doing it but if you look at it, you will get an idea of how it’s gonna go. But to get these off, the easiest way is to just get yourself a flat bladed screwdriver, get in underneath it and pry it off and there it goes. And then the next one as well. They come off pretty easy. And then we reassemble this, I’ll show you how to put them back on as well. I’ll do one more for luck, and I’m not gonna bore the pants off you by doing all of these on video, but you get a general idea of how you’re gonna go right the way around the tank until you’ve got them all removed. Now, if you’ve noticed on this tank I’ve left the weights on. If you find it easier to take the weights off to handle things then that’s fine. I haven’t particularly found it that necessary to do that but I will see you in the next video where we will remove the basket and then we get to the fun part where I will show you the simple, easy way to remove the bearings and again, this bearing removal process Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Frigidaire, GE, the whole nine yards. So you don’t need any special tools and I’ve done over 500 of these so you will see the easy way to do it because I’ve already made all the mistakes so you won’t have to.
Thank you very much! See you in video number six!
